Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking expressions of interest to understand the Unmanned Undersea Vehicle (UUV) industry and identify potential solutions to address the challenges of developing a mission reconfigurable UUV. NAVSEA seeks to design and build a 21? diameter Mission Reconfigurable Unmanned Undersea Vehicle (MRUUV). The MRUUV is intended as a submarine (SSN688 and Virginia Class) operated system capable of meeting the Navy?s requirements for clandestine Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance and limited Ocean Survey. The system will be housed in the submarine?s torpedo room with launch and recovery through the submarine?s torpedo tubes. The MRUUV will consist of two sections, a basic vehicle and a mission paylo
