- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-02-Q-0127 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04 as well as DCN 20020129. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 421490 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following Meji (JAPAN) Laboratory Equipment, BRAND NAME ONLY: CLIN 0001 - 14 Each, #AO8520, Dual Flex Gooseneck. CLIN 0002 - 14 Each, MA794, Supplementary Lens. CLIN 0003 - 14 Each, MA531, Protective Glass Lens. CLIN 0004 - 14 Each, EMZ8TR, Tri Zoom Stereo Body. CLIN 0005 - 14 Each, MA151/8TR, C-Mount, W/0.6 Lens. CLIN 0006 - 14 Each, MA502, Super Wide Eyepiece. CLIN 0007 - 14 Each, ?F?, Focus Block. CLIN 0008 - 14 Each, #132, Tilt Mount. CLIN 0009 - 14 Each, SMS6BNBM, Ball Bearing Booms. CLIN 0010 - 14 Each, SB3, Base for SMS20 Stand. CLIN 0010 - 14 Each, DXC190, Video Camera. CLIN 0012 - UK12V, Power Supply. CLIN 0013 - 14 Each, A20520, Light Source. Delivery is required F.o.B. NSWC Crane, IN 47522 within 30 days after award. Final inspection will be at destination. Selection for award will be based on lowest delivered price for Brand Name (ONLY) items specified. These items will be used with existing Meji equipment, and must meet the form, fit and function of the Meji brand. Quotes that are non-compli ant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. To be eligible for aw ard you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR). If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
