Description
SPAWAR System Center Charleston is issuing a procurement for services that will assist the SPAWAR Technology Training Center, Norfolk Virginia, in the delivery of classroom training to government agencies and customers in Europe. This effort requires individuals with extensive experience in systems training/support to perform services for classroom instruction in a wide range of Information Technology topics as well as all classroom support duties associated with the successful delivery of this type of instruction. In addition, the contractor shall provide local area network system administration/ management, database administration, website development/ management, and training site coordination/ management to support the training effort. Occasional requirements exist for assistance in development or modification of training support information, curriculum, tests, guides, etc., as well as for bilingual training and services to translate related training/test materials to support the base of local nationals employed by the Department of Defense and federal government for German, French, Italian and other languages used by local nationals in government employment. Training will be conducted at numerous sites in Europe, including the following locations: a. Weisbaden, Germany; b. Kaiserslautern, Germany; c. Wuerzburg, Germany; d. Stuttgart, Germany; e. Vilseck, Germany; f. Vicenza, Italy; g. Chievres, Belgium; h. Baumholder, Germany; i. Darmstadt, Germany; j. Aviano Italy; k. Bamberg, Germany; l. Schinnen, Netherlands; m. Ansbach, Germany; n. Hanau, Germany; o. Heidelberg, Germany; and p. Mannheim, Germany. All work must be, at all times, compliant with all regulations and restrictions regarding employment and taxation in the countries involved. This requirement is for a base year plus four (4) one-year option periods. An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Firm-Fixed Price and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee type contract is anticipated.
