Description
This is for a firm fixed price contract to a one-time, fixed quantity, Sole Source repair contract for essential repair, modification, calibration and function test as necessary to restore the following item to a serviceable condition: Include NSN applicable to C-5 aircraft: CLIN 0001: 74 each Cylinder Assembly, NSN: 1650-01-443-4863UC; P/N: 9682M47P07 (NOTE: Previous configuration was known as NSN: 1650-00-157-5945UC; P/N: 9682M47P06). Noun: Cylinder Assembly. Delivery: 15 Days After Receipt of Assets. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 5 April 2002 with an approximate response date of 3 May 2002. Solicitation will be available for reviewing or downloading from www.FedBizOpps.gov website only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. Restricted to PARKER HANNIFIN (CAGE 92003), Irvin, CA. Authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1)as implemented by FAR 6.302-2. "Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" applies. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. All potential sources should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process.
