- This is a notice of intent to place a sole source acquisition in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Versar, Inc., 9200 Rumsey Road, Columbia, MD 21045-1934, for a three-year (base year and two option periods) entomological investigation to identify the consequences of management actions taken against the West Nile Virus vectors and to provide information on the distribution and abundance of species including those that are rare, threatened and endangered. This contractor has experience that is considered to be an essential component of the present requirement.
