Description

Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) for the NW Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC). Purpose of proposed contract is to monitor and interpret changes in physical water properties and indices of habitat opportunity in the Columbia River estuary. NWFSC has installed three field stations in Cathlamet Bay and is in the process of installing three additional ones. All stations possess real-time telemetry and include measurements of water level, salinity, and temperature at one water depth. OHSU has monitored, collected data, and interpreted changes at previous stations and is uniquely qualified to perform work under proposed contract.
