Description

NA A solicitaion will be released on or about 30 April 2002 for a range of PGU-27A/B ammuntion, NSN 1305-01-451-8566, quanitiy from 755K Minimum to a Maximum of 5.35M rounds. PGU-27/30AB Ammunition, NSN:1305-01-451-8659, quantity of approximately 557K rounds . Contractors will have to bid to both the current design and the potential ECP design. At this time split awards of 55% / 45% basis are anticipated with the final descion resting with the Government based on all data at time of award. This soliciation i ncludes FedBizOpps Note Number 22. The Government intends to restrict the procurement to Alliant Techsystems, Inc., and General Dyanamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems. This synopsis further serves to alert interested subcontractors.
