Description

NA This project is the Fort Knox Army Reserve Training Building and consists of a building that is 8,902 square meters constructed with brick veneer and standing seam metal roof. Building spaces include multiple open administrative areas, offices, assembly h all, kitchen, arms vault, unit storage (70 cages) with loading dock facilities. The Training building includes all work within the 1.5-meter line. Support facilities shall include a privately owned vehicle (POV) parking lot (300 spaces) and training build ing site work outside the 1.5 meter line. Training building OMAR equipment shall include unit storage and vault caging with metal shelving and kitchen equipment. The project also includes one option, which is the underground electrical service. The cons truction cost range of this project is $10 - $25 million. The approx issue date is 14 April 2002, with an approximate bid due date of 14 May 2002. The contract specialist will be Kim McKnight at 502-315-6186. The project will be available on compact di sc only. Project specification files will be available in portable document format (pdf) files and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. If applicable, the drawing files will be in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated or prin ted using Source View Reader. Both readers will be contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements will be 486-based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8MB application RAM, 4MB hard disk space and compact disk drive.
