Description
NAICS Code: 334516 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is RFQ-RT-02-00153 and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-05. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334516 and the small business size standard of 500 employees. Full and Open competition procedures will be utilized. A firm, fixed-price purchase order is anticipated to result from the award of this solicitation. The Contractor shall provide the following line items: Line item #1: Varian P/N 0393546291, Prostar 410 Autosampler with cooling option and 96 place, 2.0ml vial rack, quantity of 2/each. Line item #2: Varian P/N 0393546291, RS-485/422 Prostar to Star communications cable, quantity of 2/each. The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. Award will be made to the lowest price that meet the Governments needs. All offerors are to include with their offers a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
