Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a solicitation to BAE Systems of Rochester, England, for the modification, fabrication and integration of a Non Developmental Item (NDI) EA-6B Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) test article under the Foreign Comparative Test (FCT) Program. The test article will consist of five (5) Control Panels and five (5) Flight Control Computers. BAE Systems has previously developed a similar item for the F-14 Program which requires only minor modifications for the EA-6B. The Contract will include a base requirement with an option(s) for future efforts including Production, Spare, and Trainer items. BAE is the only vendor that qualifies under the FCT Program and is the only vendor that meets the Programs Schedule and Technical Requirements.
