- Synopsis: This is a SOLE SOURCE fixed-price spares buy for batteries NSN 6135-99-571-4226BY, P/N U2550HCES-F95 applicable to the FDL. The intent of this procurement is to issue a Requirements Contract. The estimated quantities are as follows: Basic Year 3,261 EA; First Option year 5,835 EA; Second Option Year 8,073 EA; Third Option Year 10,350 EA; Fourth Option Year 12,494 EA. Delivery dates will be determined when delivery orders are placed against the contract. The approximate solicitation post date is __09 Apr 02__. The request for solicitation should contain Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Cage code Number, Size of Business pursuant to NAICS 335911, 500 employees. Sole Source to: Ultralife Batteries Ltd, CAGE U6734. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
