- This synopsis is a request for information as contemplated by FAR 15.201(e). There are currently no funds available and no requirement currently exists. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 621910 and the small business size standard is $6.0 million. The U.S.A.F., Hanscom AFB, MA contemplates future requirements for services as follows: The Contractor, who must possess a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity, may be requested to provide state of Massachusetts certified EMT personnel for emergency response and patient transport services required for Government beneficiaries and the general population on Hanscom AFB. One certified EMT personnel will be supplied through the contract 24 hours a day seven days a week. The 66th Medical Group will supply another EMT 24 hours a day seven days a week in addition to the one supplied by the contractor. Hanscom AFB will provide one ambulance along with the supplies and equipment. The Contractor may be requested to provide full emergency patient transport services at Hanscom AFB and all associated housing areas to include the Hanscom Officer=92s Club, the Hanscom NCO Club and all Hanscom Housing in Bedford, MA. Response time for all emergencies will not exceed ten (10) minutes. Emergency response and transport services will be coordinated using the Local County 911 system. Contractor will participate in 66th Air Base Wing and 66th Medical Group (referred to as MTF hereafter) exercises. Contractor may be requested to furnish all labor, management, supervision, transportation, and reports, the Contractor may be requested to furnish everything required to perform the contract in accordance with all of its terms. Items can include, but are not limited to: EMTs, drivers, emergency medical technicians, and road maps. Contractor care may be requested to, at a minimum, cover the range of EMT and ambulance services provided in the local community to include local protocols or standing orders and staffing minimums. Performance may be requested to be according to the requirements contained in the Statement of Work (SOW) and professional standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and Massachusetts State Department of Health's Division of Emergency Medical Services. Maryeski, Director, Commander's Staff, has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during proposal development. You should only contact the Ombudsman with issues or problems you cannot satisfactorily resolve with the program manager and/or contracting officer. The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
