Description

USDA Enterprise Agreement for Microsoft Product Support Services USDA, though the Office of Chief Information Officer (CIO) seeks an enterprise agreement with Microsoft Corporation, either directly or through one of its Value Added Resellers (VAR) up to five years in duration and available to all USDA agencies and staff offices that will provide an extensive range of support services, including training, as appropriate, to sustain and augment the existing information technology services to enable the Department to offer its programs, information, and customer services in a cost-effective, efficient, and secure manner. Through this enterprise agreement, USDA also expects to acquire information technology support services that can lead to new, innovative solutiions and best practices in the design and implementation of a cross-cutting support services infrastructure, i.e. across all gencies and staff offices, to enhance and seamlessly provide program, information, and services delivery regardless where the customer may located and whenever the customer chooses to tranasct business with USDA. A RFP is not available. A Statement of Objectives (SOO) is available upon request by emailing susie.bolling@usda. gov. RESPONSES TO THE SOO ARE DUE APRIL 19, 2002, Eastern Daylight Saving time.
