Description
This effort is for a 9 month period of performance wherein the contractor shall provide engineering support for the resolution of problems/anomalies in support equipment/test program sets (SE/TPSs) used at the WR-ALC TRC, and all operational bases, for the AN/ALQ-172(V). The contractor shall also provide in-house engineering support at the contractor's facility and field services support at other government facilities. The approximate issue date will be 10 Apr 02, with the approximate response date of 15 Apr 02 (due to the need for immediate contract coverage). The solicitation will be issued sole source to: ITT Avionics, 100 Kingsland Rd, Clifton NJ 07014, Authority: 10 USC 2304 c (1), Justification: Supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above to for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreement, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
