- NA This is a Market Survey to locate potential sources for the Procurement of the following assemblies/parts, which are required to perform Recapitalization (RECAP) efforts and supply initial support spares on FIREFINDER AN/TPQ-36/37 systems: Frequency Multip lier, P/N 13459094, NSN: 5895-01-448-7613; A Oscillator, P/N: 13458948, NSN: 6625-01-434-1205; B Oscillator, P/N 13458949, NSN: 6625-01-434-1207; Cathode Regulator, P/N 13459081, NSN: 6110-01-442-2338; Pulse Amplifier, P/N 13563083, NSN: 5998-01-473-7724; RF Converter, P/N 13458979, NSN: 5963-01-434-1199; supply the Beam Steering Units (BSU) Pin Plates (which do not have a specific part number or NSN assigned). The requirement also includes Technical Services to support/assist Tobyhanna Army Depot with imp lementation of overall RECAP efforts and to resolve future obsolescence/sustainment efforts on various configurations of AN/TPQ-36 (V) and AN/TPQ-37 (V) FIREFINDER systems. This notice serves as a sources-sought synopsis for the purposes of conducting mar ket research to determine the interest and capability of potential sources. There is an initial requirement to procure these items immediately to comply with Tobyhanna Army Depot's RECAP implementation schedule beginning July 2002. The intended performan ce period is expected to be 5 years. The current source is Thales Raytheon Systems, 2000 E. El Segundo Boulevard, El Segundo, California 90245-0902. Detailed Technical Data, Performance Specification, Test & Repair documentation/procedures, and Test Equi pment are not available from the Army. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by providing a clear and convincing Statement of Capability. The Statement of Capability should be detailed enough to make a technical assessment of the capabilities possessed by the Contractor. The Statement of Capability should be submitted in writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: PM Firefinder, SFAE-IEW-FF, Building 2525, ATTN: Stan Dobies, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000, o r Email: Stanley.Dobies@mail1.monmouth.army.mil. The response must include documentation such as test results, Depot Maintenance Repair procedures, and copies of purchase orders if the supplier was a vendor/subcontractor for these items or a statement fro m listed source demonstrating that the supplier can successfully provide these items and supply these services. Potential sources may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended. This noti ce of intent is not a request of competitive proposals. No solicitation document exists. The Government will consider all Statements of Capability received within 15 days of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed c ontact action based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
