Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-03. This solicitation is being issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a request for Quotation (RFQ) and is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 532112 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. An award will be made on a firm-fixed price basis as a one time buy. All items described in this announcement will be awarded on an aggregate basis (all or none), and must meet or exceed the following: (1) pick-up truck, (1) minivan, (1) sport utility vehicle four (4) door, and (1) full size four (4) door sedan or any combination of pick-up trucks, minivans and full size vehicles; model year from 1997 to 2002; standard equipment; Neutral colors and, with the possible exception of the sedan; factory tinted windows; automatic transmission; V-6 engine; am/fm radio; air conditioning; Vehicles must be able to be replaced at any time at the direction of the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR); The period of performance begins with the signature of the contracting officer and ends September 30, 2002. All quotations are due no later than April 17, 2002, at 4:30 p.m. EST, to FBI Headquarters, 935 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Room 1B015, Washington, DC 20535 or fax to (202) 324-8031/8040, attention Mr. Joseph G.
