Description
SYNOPSIS: The scope of work for this project includes the replacement of two (2) A. O. Smith COF700A oil fired heaters. The new heaters shall be of the same make and model as the existing. The new heaters shall have factory installed AGA rated T&P relief valves. The contractor shall complete all work required, including but no limited to electrical, plumbing and duct/flue vent connection to disconnect and remove the existing heater and install the new heaters. This includes any modification to the piping as required. All new piping shall be match the existing. Location of Site: U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command Miami 100 MacArthur Causeway, Miami Beach, FL 33139. It is recommended that the contractor carefully inspect the area for the proposed repair and verify the amount of work necessary to complete the job. A tour of the job site can be arranged by calling the Contracting Officer?s Technical Representative (COTR) Chief Warrant Officer Willie Seabrooks, (305) 535-4483, at least 3 working days in advance of the proposed visit. Technical questions may be directed to the Project Engineer, LT Harry Mautte of U.S.C.G. Civil Engineering Unit Miami, at (305) 278-6737. The performance period is thirty- (30) calendar days from award date. The estimated price range is less than $25,000. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive quote based on best value to the government. This solicitation is being issued as an Emerging Small Business Set-Aside pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program An Emerging Small Business is defined as a small business concern whose size is no greater than 50 percent of the numerical size standard applicable to the NAICS code below. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235110, with a size standard of $12 million.
