- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All responses to this solicitation/Request for Quotation (RFQ) must make reference to Solicitation Number F04693-02-T-0004 and be submitted by close of business April 17, 2002. This solicitation covers one line item to provide software license VIP Maintenance renewal for wInsight software family & support. The purpose of this effort is to renew the annual VIP maintenance software for the wInsight family from C/S- Solutions Incorporation. The VIP maintenance plan will provide upgrades and hotline support to all C/S solutions products. The software family includes: wInsight; wInsight Administrator; and C/S Glue for MS Project 98/00. The task will focus on renewal of VIP maintenance plan. Release of wInsight software upgrades from C/S- Solution Inc. Includes 10 (ten) sets of wInsight software family CDs and 10 (ten) User Manuals for use by unlimited user at a single physical location. This agreement includes maintenance software, all major software releases, shipping, and unlimited telephone technical support for the software for the period of one year. The period of performance will be from 05/01/2002 through 05/1/2003. This work is unclassified. Please note that any freight charges must be included in the price of the item. This contract is Set-aside for Small Business. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 541511, with size standard of $21 million. Require delivery to Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, California 90245. To be eligible, vendors are required to be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR), NO EXCEPTIONS. In order to register, apply through the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. A Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number is required to register. Verification of CCR registration and Tax ID number must accompany your quote. The provisions of DFAR 252.204-7004, "Required Central Contractor Registration"; FAR 52.212-1 "Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items", 52.212-3 "Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items", FAR 52.212-4 "Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items", FAR 52.233-3, "Agency Protests" and FAR 52.212-5 "Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items", including the following sub clauses, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37 and 52.232-33, apply to this acquisition. Far Clause 52.212-2, "Evaluation-Commercial Items", also applies to this acquisition. Responses will be evaluated based on best value to the government.
