Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, RI has a requirement for a definite delivery contract for cable pulley stations, cable pulley pusher stations, pulley support posts, cable drive pusher stations, cable guide brackets, access plates, hand-cranks, clamp plates, driver gears, brackets, machine keys, etc. in accordance with manufacturing drawings provided with the solicitation. These pulley posts and stations are used in the OK-276 Unit 1 Cable Drive. They are an integral part of the cable drive unit and hold the pulleys in place so they function properly. The solicitation will include the option to purchase similar quantities of these items each year for four additional years. The supplier?s manufacturing process must be compliant with ANSI/ASQC Q9002 quality requirements. Verification of compliance may require vendor audit at the supplier?s facility prior to delivery of product. A 100% inspection of all attributes is required by the vendor with inspection data to be provided to the customer. Material identification must appear on external surfaces of items or packages. Sample source inspection may be required at the vendors facility prior to shipment. Sampling will be performed in accordance with ANSI ASQC Z1.4, General Inspection Level II. A certificate of compliance that all items were manufactured in accordance with all applicable instructions and specifications is required. Required delivery is 120 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important. Commercial procedures are being used for this solicitation which shall be issued in less than 15 days per FAR 5.203(a) & (h) and shall also state a response time of less than 30 days per FAR 5.203(b) & (h). This is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 332999 and the size standard is 500 employees. Manufacturing drawings in electronic format are available for download at our web site.
