- Description
- The work consists of stabilizing a head cut into the roadway via a concrete low water crossing with low flow culverts and a grouted rock riprap chute. It also consists of furnishing and placement of corrugated metal pipe. The major items of work (estimated quantities) are; 48 cubic yards concrete, 3,070 pounds reinforcement steel bar, corrugated metal pipe, 800 tons rock riprap, 280 cubic yards grout, Class H site preparation. Only one award will be made for the entire project. The NAICS Code is 234990. Performance period will be 120 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed date, approximately June 10, 2002. A 20% bid bond will be required. Performance and payment bonds of 100% each will be required of the contractor awarded this contract. This project is unrestricted and is not set-aside for small business concerns. Price range is from $100,000 to $250,000. Site showing will be at 1:00 P.M., April 29, 2002, at Bandera SWCD, 2886 State Highway 16 North, Bandera TX.
