Description

NA Red River Army Depot has amended solicitation DAAE32-02-R-0003 for a requirements type contract for strip stock rubber. The following two line items has been added, NSN 264000X970149 Strip Stock Rubber 2 3/4? X 15/32, estimated quantity is 500,000 lbs a nd NSN 264000X010261 estimated quantity of 15,000 lbs. The compound is RMTWA. The compound formulation will be provided after receipt of a signed nondisclosure statement. Material must conform to MIL-DTL-11891G. The rubber will be provided in strip sto ck form (1.5 ? 1.75? wide and .25 - .3125? thick) Samples for first article testing (FAT) are required for firms who have not previously provided this product to this Depot. 500 pounds of the formulation in proper strip size must be provided in advance of the date set for receipt of proposals for FAT. F AT will consist of physical properties testing, TGA and adhesion testing on a road wheel. The solicitation is available now. The nondisclosure statement may be obtained by emailing or calling the Contracting Officer.
