- Description
- NA Project Manager, Signals Warfare, is conducting a Market Survey to identify companies with the capability of implementing modifications to Upgrade Guardrail Common Sensor (GRCS) Systems 1, 2, 3 and 4. Modifications include: Replacement of Advanced Quick Look (AQL) airborne processor hardware and software; Retrofit of GRCS Systems 1,3 and 4 ELINT antenna pods to System 2 configuration; redesign, code and replace existing legacy ground processing Main System Computer (MSC) and ELINT System Computer (ESC) SW ; Upgrade the signal collection and processing capability to handle advanced digital signals; Integration of Distributed Common Ground Station-Army (DCGS-A) capabilities into GRCS ground processing; and Upgrades to GRCS ELINT algorithms. Redesigned MSC a nd ESC subsystems must transfer all of the functionality of the existing GRCS systems into upgraded SW systems. Redesigned SW must be installed in the existing ground processing HW. These efforts require systems engineering, detailed design and design int egration for modifications and upgrades to existing GRCS ground and airborne systems. NOTE: Potential bidders are required to have detailed knowledge of GRCS hardware/software so they can intelligently and adequately design, develop, integrate, test and f ield new capabilities listed herein. The contractors have to understand the GRCS operation and how the GRCS system performs its mission. All replacement hardware and software using commercial products must meet the Department of Defense Joint Tactical Ar chitecture and Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment (DII COE) requirements. Technical Points of Contact are Mark Due, 732-427-2190 and George Massabni, 732-427-5868.
