- NA NOTE: Any prospective bidder/offeror interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this solicitation must register on our website at https://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from th e Internet after solicitation issuance. Plans and specifications will be issued on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. ONLY 50 CDs WILL BE ISSUED. CDs will be issued only to prime contractors and plan rooms on a first come first s erved basis. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Description of Work: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, requires a contract for the Upgrading of the SOF Rowe Training Facility located at Camp Mackall, North Caroli na. Work consists of construction of a two-story cadre support building (including: training billets, latrines, dayroom, gymnasium, mud room, kitchenette, laundry), two one-story separate toilet/shower buildings, and a one-story laundry facility and a on e-story detached toilet building. Buildings will be constructed of steel frame with insulated masonry walls, concrete foundation and structural floor, compositions shingle roof on insulated metal decking, and steel trusses. Project will also include fire protection system, information systems, and utilities (plumbing, HVAC and electrical). Demolition of one building totaling 306 m2. Air conditioning: 200kw. Options will be included in the solicitation. Estimated cost range of the project is from $1,00 0,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Network Analysis will be required. COMPETITION WILL BE LIMITED TO 8(a) CERTIFIED FIRMS WITH AN OFFICE LOCATED WITHIN REGION IV (GA, AL, NC, TN, MS, FL, KY, SC) WHICH HAVE 233320 AMONG THEIR APPROVED NAICS CODES. This solicitat ion will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about April 28, 2002, on the Internet at https://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/. Notification of amendments will be through use of the Internet. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, f axes, etc.) will be provided. It is the contractor?s responsibility to check the Internet address provided below as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments.
