Description

NA The Government intends to solicit a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and award a HubZone competitive, Firm Fixed Price contract for adapter, antenna, P/O MK-2384/VRC. Only bidders determined to be HubZone concerns should respond to this synopsis, other bidders will not be considered. This acquisition is to procure six hundred (600) each antenna adapters, NSN: 5985-01-226-8171, P/O MK-2384/VRC, IAW Drawing number A3014066-1. PACKAGING AND PACKING shall be IAW the contractor's best commercial packaging and ASTM- D-3951. A solicitation package is expected to be issued o/a 12 April 2002. A drawing package may be requested by contacting both the contract specialist and contracting officer via electronic mail. The assigned RFQ number is DAAB07-02-Q-D629. The US Arm y Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the IBOP Website to allow electronic transmittals of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Invitations for Bid (IFBs) from CECOM to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are i nvited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at (http://abop.monmouth.army.mil). Upon accessing this web page, click on CECOM Business Opportunities. You may access potential CECOM Business Opportunities by simply typing {guest} for the log-on ID and password. Registration for a user-ID and password will only be necessary when you are considering the submission of proposals to CECOM through the IBOP. For CD-ROM drawings or other data, contact both the identified contract special ist and contracting officer via their e-mail. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitations from the IBOP. Please contact the IBOP help desk, toll free at 1-888-414-BOSS (6277) for tech nical assistance with the IBOP. Offers and bids shall be submitted in hard copy at the time and place specified in the solicitation. No bids shall be submitted directly to the Contracting Officer. See Note 27.
