Description

The Camp Lamoille Bridge replacement project is located in Lamoille Canyon, approximately 22 miles south and east of Elko, Nevada. The project includes the removal and disposal of an existing single lane 30-foot treated timber bridge and existing concrete abutments. The bridge will be replaced with new cast in place reinforced concrete abutments and a new weathering steel bridge. The new bridge will be single lane and approximately forty (40) feet long. The bridge will also include a bridge rail system with approach railing. Minor road widening will be necessary for the installation of the rail system and an asphalt wearing system will be installed on the deck and approaches. From Elko, Nevada, take the Lamoille Highway (SR 227) approximately 20 miles to the Lamoille Canyon turnoff. Take Lamoille Canyon Road (FSR 660) for approximately four miles to the Lamoille Organization Camp (Camp Lamoille) turnoff (FSR 122). This turn is on the right side of the road bearing approximately south and is a gravel road. The bridge is 0.3 miles along this road. NAICS code: 234120. Size Standard: $27.5 Million. The estimated start date is 9/16/02 with 120 calendar days for completion. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
