Description
THIS IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. This solicitation is in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The USCG ELC anticipates awarding a firm fixed price requirements type contract for 14 inch Range Lanterns. The range lanterns must conform to the requirements set forth in ELC Specification P-422-0310. The estimated qty per year is 291 each. To ensure compliance with specified requirements, first article tests will be performed on 3 first articles units before production is authorized. Delivery of all items shall be within 180 days after receipt of delivery order. The resulting contract is expected to have a base year plus four (1) year option years. FOB Destination to the USCG ELC, Warehouse Annex, Columbia, MD 21046. This Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be issued via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.eps.gov. Interested parties shall contact our office to obtain a copy of the Technical Data Package only, hard copies of the Request for Proposal will not be issued and shall be access through www.eps.gov. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the EPS website at www.eps.gov for RFP release and all subsequent amendments. The date and time for receipt of proposals shall be specified in the Request for Proposal. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 335129 and the size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. Please direct inquiries to the Contract Specialist only. ATTN: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
