Description

The 38 Engineering Installation Group/PKL, Contracting Division, has a requirement for pager service in support of our STEM engineers. The requirement is Nationwide paging capability to include Hawaii and Alaska. Numeric paging (for Numeric) and 1-way Alpha-numeric paging (for Alphanumerics). All Alphanumerics must be able to receive the messages sent through the Internet (e.g. via e-mail or Web page). Voice mail (messaging) for both Numeric and Alphanumeric pagers. Personal toll free telephone number assigned to each pager. Tone and vibrator silent modes. 16 numeric message memory with time tag for Numeric and 16 alphanumeric message memory with time tag for Alphanumeric. The paging system shall be based on call averaging for the whole system instead of individual pagers. As a minimum the call averaging pool for the system shall able 12,800 calls per month (200 calls per pager) for Numeric and Alphanumeric paging. For voice mail, the minimum shall able 1920 minutes pool per month (30 minutes per pager). The contractual document shall include the option to delete and add additional pagers as required. The contract shall include the ability to exercise two 1-year options. Delivery time between sending and receiving page shall be 5 minutes maximum while the customers are in the Oklahoma City and Tinker AFB areas and 10 minutes maximum while the customers are in other paging coverage areas.
