- Description
- This is for a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract with a 4-year ordering period for Valve Block and Inserts applicable to C-5 aircraft. Initial order for contract minimum of 45 each will be placed at time of contract award. The remaining ordering periods consist of a minimum buy of 21 each for each year and a maximum of 45 each for each year. Contract minimum is 45 each with contract maximum of 180 each. NSN: 5340-01-239-8716UC, P/N: 622985. DIM: approximately 4.5 inches diameter, 4 inches tall. Function: Sub-assembly to aid in the operation of a variable displacement hydraulic pump. Predominant material of manufacture: Aluminum/Steel internal parts. Tech Order: 9H4-2-80-33. DELIVERY: 31 Dec 2002 for initial order. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 16 Apr 2002 with approximate response date of 16 May 2002. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading from www.FedBixOpps.gov website only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose if the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process.
