Description

NA Description: Description: The Ft. Pierce maintenance dredging project work will consist of dredging approximately 75,000 cubic yards of material from Cut -1, and the Turning Basin. All dredged material (except that between Sta. 107+00 and 109+00 of Cut - 1) will be placed in the Ft. Pierce Ocean Disposal Area, which is located approximately 5.4 miles from the tip of the south jetty of Ft. Pierce Harbor. Work will also include turbidity monitoring and endangered species observer/monitoring. The Contractor shall furnish plant and equipment that can accomplish work within the time specified under the expected weather and wave conditions. A. Cut -1, Sta. 107+00 to Sta. 109+00 Project Depth 28?, Allowable Overdepth 1?. B. For Turning Basin 00 Project Depth 28?, Allowable Overdepth 1?. Construction equipment expected to be used for this project could include, but not be limited to, the following: clam shell dredging equipment, barges and attendant floating plant. The construction time is 60 calendar days. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Solicitations will be issued on or about 4/16/02 and the bid opening is scheduled for on or about 5/31/02. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Bidders will be provi ded a CD-ROM at no cost. Interested bidders must register electronically.
