Description

NA Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision necessary to Repair and Test Lightning Protection Equipment at the Ammo Storage Facilities, Fort Knox, Kentucky. Work includes, but is not limited to, replacing test rods, replacing ground rods, replacing ground wiring, repair LPS system connections, repair/replace air terminals, miscellaneous concrete work, and testing. Contractor personnel may be required to work in and around bunkers that house explosives. All work sha ll be completed within 60 calendar days after notice to proceed. The estimated amount of this requirement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. Plans and specifications w ill be supplied on CD-ROM and will be furnished with paper copy of solicitation. Solicitations should be available on or about 18 April 2002 with proposals being due on or about 15 May 2002. These dates are estimated and are subject to change. A limited number of solicitation packages will be available and issued on a first-come, first-serve basis. Contractors will be limited to one copy of the solicitation package. Requests for solicitation packages must be submitted in writing and may be faxed to 502 -624-7165 or 502-624-5869. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Solicitation packages will not be faxed; faxed proposals will not be accepted.
