Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the construction of a two-story, six-bedroom, three bath fire crew quarters at Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge, Naples, FL. Work included under this invitation consists of constructing a two story wood frame quarters building including all sitework, utilities and miscellaneous items of related work as detailed on the drawings and in the specifications. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 233210. The size standard is $27.5 million. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 04/30/02, with a 30 day closing. Requests for IFB shall be in writing, stating IFB number 401812B002, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and phone number/fax number. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 240 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is on/about 06/07/02. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
