- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation ; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-02-T-0161 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This procurement is set aside for small business. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-19. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333923 and the business size standard is 500. Fleet Contracting Center, Mayport Fl intends to purchase on a full and open competitive basis the following line items. 0001. Two (2) bridge crane hoists, pl21 & pl22, located in the Chrome room, building 794, with the following specifications: new, 2 speed, 1000 lb electric hoist, 460v, 3 phase, 60 Hz, nickel plated chain with container, heavy duty Nema 4, 60 minute duty cycle, 20' lift, motorized trolley 40 fpm, 8 button control pendent, with momentary on/off operator, install electrical festoon for trolley. Harrington Hoist series ERM or equal. Hoist must pass NCC acceptance test. Certificate of overload test to 125% of rated capacity. Certificate for load chain test report ASME, b-30.16. Hook and nut NDT report ASTM, e709 or mil.std.271, hook or nut is not to be welded or painted. Provide operation, maintenance and parts manual. Price to include removal and installation. The old hoist will be turned over to the government. 0002. Speed Controls for bridge crane NI-11, located in the NDI Shop, Building 794. New complete variable frequency drive control panel on the existing 1000 lb electric hoist, 460v, 3 phase, 60 Hz, include, motor overloads, brake contractors, control transformer, main contractor, fusing, motorized trolley and bridge, control pendent and cable, with momentary on/off operator and electrical festoon for trolley. Hoist must pass NCC acceptance test. Provide operation, maintenance and parts manual. Price to include removal and installation. Turn over old hoist parts to the government. 0003 Ceiling mounted bridge crane workstation, include one 2-ton electrical hoist, 48 ft long steel runways with 4,000 lb. Capacity, 29 ft. Aluminum bridge, complete with support assemblies, runways, bridge, end trucks, hoist trolley, end strip bumpers, complete festooning package with 14 gauge, 4-conductor flat cable, install one new, 2 speed, 4000 lb electric hoist, 480v, 3 phase, 60 Hz, nickel plated chain with container, heavy duty nema, 4, 60 minute duty cycle, 12' lift, hook mount suspension, two button control with 8' pendent. Install electrical festoon for trolley. Harrington hoist series ERM or equal. Work location in building 158, metal storage. Price to include installation. Hoist must pass NCC acceptance test. Certificate of overload test to 125% of rated capacity. Certificate for load chain test report ASME, b-30.16. Hook and nut NDT report ASTM, e709 or mil.std.271, hook or nut is not to be welded or painted. Provide operation, maintenance and parts manual. 0004. Bridge crane hoist b-73, located in the metal manufacturing, building 101. New bottom running motorized end trucks, span 14', 1000 lb electric chain hoist, two speed, 230v, 3 phase, 60 hz, speed 40 fpm, 15' lift with chain container, motorized trolley, 8 button control pendent, w/momentary on/off operator, install electrical festoon for trolley and bridge. Harrington hoist series NERM005l-l or equal. Hoist must pass NCC acceptance test. Certificate of overload test to 125% of hoist rated capacity. Certificate for load chain test report ASME, b-30.16. Hook and nut NDT report ASTM, e709 or mil.std.271, hook or nut is not to be welded or painted. Provide operation, maintenance and parts manual. Price to include removal and installation. Turn over old hoist parts to the government The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision to remove and install the items specified. The contractor shall make a site visit to obtain and verify any necessary field measurements and requirements for completing this work. The Government intends to make a single award to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation, and is the most advantageous to the Government considering price and price-related factors.
