- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Regional Contracting Office, NE currently has a requirement to provide Marine for life Website to cover the growth & sustainment phase of the program to include the following: -The Contractor shall provide a web-based database with internet utilities solution that permits distributed management through the duration of the contract. -The Contractor shall provide use, connectivity by and between, and flow of information by the following: HQMC (apprx. 3 users), Transition Recruiters on the East and West Coast (apprx. 6 users), Hometown links at 52 sites (52 users), and Marines transitioning to the sites (several thousand) throughout the contract period . -Data management and input relating to Transitioning Marines. This information will include official Privacy Act protected information from the Marine Corps? official Data Stores. -Satisfy required privacy and security concerns. -Management and reporting of resources to facilitate forecasting, tracking and long range planning. - Minimal impacts to existing infrastructure (physical architecture and native Database Management Systems(DBMS) including those of host and client sites. Software and Data will reside on contractor?s servers. -Government furnished property: -Data on transitioning Marines from official data stores -Hardware for users -Internet connectivity for users -The Government will furnish no facilities for the Contractor -Database shall remain the property of the government -Data on the database, and all government data remains the property of the government, and is not to be sold for any reason or purpose. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001.05. The following clauses apply to this acquisition; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial items FAR 52.21.-4 and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial items FAR 52.222.25 Affirmative Action Compliance.
