- Description
- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) has a requirement for 10 sleeping rooms/suites no more than a 20 minute commute from 1401 Research Blvd. Rockville, MD. The required period of performance must begin with check-in on July 28, 2002 and ends with check out on November 8, 2002 (104 nights). The room rate is not to exceed the Government Lodging rate. Each room/suite must have a TV and VCR for students to complete homework assignments, unlimited local telephone calls, separate bedroom and living room areas; a fully equipped kitchen; a health and fitness facility; and coin-operated laundry or laundry services. Housekeeping services must be at least weekly. The vendor must provide daily shuttle services to and from the Research Blvd training site. Rooms/suites must meet all Montgomery County and Maryland fire and safety codes. The vendor must provide a 24-hour advance notification of any maintenance to be conducted in the room. The vendor must accept payment via electronic fund transfer (EFT) and must not invoice more frequently than once a month. The vendor must complete an SF-3381 ACH Vendor/Miscellaneous Payment Enrollment form. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; proposals are requested. A separate written solicitation will not be issued. The rooms/suites will be procured on a firm-fixed price contract. All clauses and provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-05. The following provisions are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. Evaluation factors are quality and price with quality more important than price. The Government will award on basis of best value to the Government. Quotes must include product literature.
