Description
Potential Sources Sought. The Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources to consider in an award of an ORDER FOR SUPPLIES/SERVICES. Parts are manufactured by Litton Marine Systems who manufacturer these parts. Transducer Kit, SRD-500, for the SRD ?500 doppler speed log. Replacement 1- each; and Sea Chest Transducer replacement kit , P/n 1813694-16, 1-each.. Delivery will be F.O.B Destination, U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistic Center, and Baltimore, MD. 21226. It is the Government?s belief that the items required can only be obtained from authorized distributors such as: Litton Marine Systems. If there are other authorized distributors, you are required to provide authorized distributorship from Litton Marine Systems to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistic Ctr. Within (3) days of this announcement however, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within (3) days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts: 1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics), or 2) data that the offered part as have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. This announcement will serve as a Request for Quotation, no further information will be available. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department Of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
