Description

The IRS intends to issue a delivery order on a sole source basis to L & E Associates, Inc. for the installation of the premise distribution system and rehabilitation of the impacted wire closets on the 5th and 6th floors located in the main Internal Revenue Service Headquarters Building at 1111 Constitution Ave., NW, Washington DC. The rehabilitation of these closets will be in accordance with the Treasury Digital Telecommunication System standards for the voice and data communications equipment and connectivity requirements. In coordination with other construction efforts that may include, but not limited to, electrical mechanical, carpentry, furniture installers, the Contractor shall install the premise distribution system that includes all horizontal wiring for both voice and data from the Telecommunications Wire closet to the workstations, or other required termination points. All responsible sources that can provide the above requirement shall submit a written statement of interest and capabilities by the date specified (4/16/2002). All request shall include point of contact (name and telephone number), GSA contract number, if applicable, business size, and payment terms. No solicitations will be issued, therefore such request for solicitations will be considered non-responsive. All questions must be submitted in writing.
