Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Mid-Atlantic Regional Office, Lexington, Kentucky, intends to issue a solicitation, RFQ 10907-006, for telemedicine services for the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. The contract type is a firm-fixed price, requirements type contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated requirement includes services for:Cardiology, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Oral-Maxillofacial, orthopedic surgery, hematology/oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, OB/GYN, Pain Management, Urology, Nephrology, Dermatology, Otorhinolaryngology, Infectious Disease, Cardiothoracic surgery, organ transplantation, gerontology, vascular surgery, podiatry, endocrinology, rheumatology, wound care, neurosurgery, and emergency medicine. The solicitation will be available on or about April 15, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is May 21, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
