- NA The proposed contract listed here is unrestricted. Standard Industrial Code is 1711. The North American Industry Classification is 235110, size standard is $12 million. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a bid, which shall be considered by the Agency. Terminal units to be refurbished throughout the schools necessary to improve climate control. Systems are generally steam, however some may be split and/or completely hydronic type. Therefore refurbishment generally consist of replacement of traps and te mperature control valves. In addition, associated equipment/features possibly could include such things as drip pans, P-traps, filters, belts, motors, bearings, etc. and possible complete terminal unit replacement and complete condensate pumps/unit replac ement as determined necessary to achieve additional years of reliable operation/climate control as specifically specified in the solicitation package. The Contractor shall be responsible to identify, design and abate areas of hazardous materials, demolish existing under a negative pressure dust filtration system, monitor/record health-safety by aggressive air sampling during demolition, coordinate and pr ovide individual repairs and replacement control system meeting the specified requirements. Work shall not interrupt the owner?s operation of any existing chilled water plant between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, during regular and sum mer school sessions, excluding holidays. Central heating plants shall be ready to provide heat no later than 30 September 2002. The Contractor shall provide spare parts, O & M documentation, as-builts, posted bulletings/labeling, testing, system demonstr ation, training and one year warranty. Total estimated construction value between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Subcontracting goals are 65% for small business, 15% for small disadvantaged business, 8% women owned small business, 2% hubzone and 3% Veteran owned small business.
