Description

NA The work consists of the removal of approximately 4,000,000 cubic yards of dredged material, comprised of maintenance material, to a required depth of 44 feet below mean low tide and 2 feet of allowable overdepth for 50,000 feet of the project channel with a width of 800 feet. There will be no levee work. Subcontracting goals for the Galveston District are: 61.4% - Small Business; 9.1% - Small Disadvantaged Business; 5.0% - Woman-Owned; 2.5% - Hubzone Small Business; 3.0% - Veteran-Owned Small Business and 3.0% - Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The estimated cost range is between $1 million and $5 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 234990. The Small Business Size Standa rd is $17 million and will be advertised UNRESTRICTED. The plans and specifications have been place on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge on the issue date. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. H owever, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractor?s responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Cont ractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: http://www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct.
