Description

NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to initiate a negotiated, best-value procurement to acquire approximately 1260 linear feet of cut stone granite for Fort Delaware State Park, Pea Patch Island, Delaware. The acquisition will be a negotiated, best value procurement performed using the procurement process prescribed in FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. Proposals will be reviewed for completeness in satisfying the requirement of the RFP. The proposal will be evaluat ed on their merit against the following factors: (1) Quality of stone in comparison to granite on Pea Patch Island, (2) Past performance with contracts of similar size and scope, and (3) Price. The RFP will be available on or about 12 April 2002. Contrac tors must register on the Internet and download the solicitation package and all amendments from the following address: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil or after the issue date of the solicitation. If any information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving notice of the solicitation or any amendments. Hard copies will not be available. Proposals w ill be due on or about 26 April 2002 at the close of business (3:00 p.m. ET). Offers are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 212311 with a size standard of 500 employees. Affirm ative action to ensure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. Liquidated damages are included in the contract. Award will be made as a whole to one offeror. No other notification to firms for this project will be made. Al l contractors must be registered in the DoD?s Central Contractor Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
