Description

PROVIDE ALL LABOR AND MATERIALS NECESSARY TO REPAIR AN INGERSOL RAND 6R80 HIGH PRESSURE AIR COMPRESSOR, UTILIZING PARTS FROM OLD PUMP END, CONSISTING OF HOSES, BELTS, FITTINGS, PRESSURE SWITCHES AND RELIEF VALVES, ETC.UPON COMPLETION OF REPAIRS, COMPRESSOR IS TO BE RETURNED TO BUILDING #5, NAVAL STATION, NEWPORT, RI.A SMALL AMOUNT OF XL740 HT OIL SHALL BE PUT INTO THE CYLINDER HEADS, FOR STORAGE. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF REPAIRS TO BE ACCOMPLISHED ON A 75 H,.P. I-R M/N 6R80-BX75 S/N 30BW7481:THE WORK WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING SERVICES: 1ST STAGE: A.Replace the valve assembly and gaskets. B.Replace both flange gaskets. C.Replace the ring set. D.Replace the separator element. 2nd STAGE: A.Replace the valve assembly and gaskets. B.Replace both flange gaskets. C.Replace the ring set D.Replace the separator element. 3rd STAGE: A.Replace the valve assembly B.Replace the flange gasket. C.Replace the necessary o? rings. D.Replace the ring set. E.Replace the separator element. 4th STAGE: A.Replace the valve assembly. B.Replace the sealing washer. C.Replace the flange gasket. D.Replace the o?ring. E.Replace the piston assembly w/rings. NOTE: The rings can?t be purchased separately. They can only come as part of the whole assembly. F.Replace the cylinder.
