Description

The United States Government is seeking to lease office and related space consisting of approximately 14,520 square feet of rentable space in the Downtown area of Chicago, IL. Rentable space must yield a minimum of 11,477 usable square feet, to a maximum of 12,625 usable square feet, available for use by the Government for personnel, furnishings and equipment. Parking for 5 vehicles on site is desirable, but not required. The proposed lease is for 20 years, 10 years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than July 2002. Offered properties must be within the following boundaries to be considered: North: Lake Street East: Michigan Avenue South: Van Buren Street West: Wells Street After an on-site survey by a Government representative, the area of consideration may be revised depending on a review of the overall mission of the Government agency to be housed in the space. The offered space must be fully serviced and altered to meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility Standards. The General Services Administration does not utilitize tenant brokers to represent the Government in lease negotiations or transactions. Proposals from brokers or agents should be accompanied by evidence of their authorization to represent the ownership. Expressions of interest should include building name, address and floor of the space offered.
