Description

Kaiser-Hill Company, LLC (Contractor), is the Integrating Management Contractor at DOE?s Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site (RFETS) near Denver, Colorado. Kaiser-Hill Company is requesting sources concerning technology available for radiological contamination control using fixatives for the Building 776/777 complex at RFETS. Contractor requests information concerning technologies for fixative that can be operated and applied by on site workers to control radiological contamination on facility equipment/components and Building structures. The purpose of this work is to contain contamination present on existing equipment/components, and the Building structure to support the Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) of a plutonium production facility at Rocky Flats Environment Technology Site (RFETS). Send information on potential processes, equipment or tools that could assist the Contractor in performing D&D using fixatives or other existing technologies. Include pictures or drawings, specifications, recommendations on vendor-supplied training or technical support for operation or maintenance, and delivery times. The Contractor may or may not issue a solicitation related to this sources sought for this equipment. Telephone calls will not be accepted. All potential sources shall submit information by close of business on April 19, 2002 and requested information shall be sent to Karen Robben, Kaiser-Hill Company, L.L.C., Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site, Building 706, 10808 Highway 93, Unit B, Golden, CO 80403-8200, faxed information will not be accepted. Contractor will not pay any costs associated with response to this notice and Contractor makes no warranty as to the total to be acquired.
