Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04700-02-T-EG01. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-24 and Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 91-13. This acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 721110. The Air Force Flight Test Center, Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base California, has a requirement for the following: 50 single rooms for 99 days and 10 double rooms for 99 days. All rooms must be in the same complex. Pricing to be per room not per person and a flat rate required for entire period. Period of Performance is 15 May 2002 through 29 August 2002. The following accommodations are required: dedicated units for the entire period of performance with guaranteed room location; facility to be within a 40 mile radius of Eglin AFB, FL; fully equipped kitchen with microwave and housewares required in each unit; phones in each unit with long distance carrier, data ports, message light and voicemail; weekly maid service (level TBD); rooms are to be fully furnished; fire/smoke detectors in every unit; self-use laundry facilities on-site; restaurant/deli on-site or within walking distance; cable TV; exercise room available 24 hours; unrestricted parking per unit; visitors allowed; access to meeting rooms. The factor used to evaluate offers will be technically acceptable lowest price offer. The following provisions and clauses apply: Provision 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference. This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available.
