Description
This is for a firm fixed price requirement for manufacture of an Electrical Indicator applicable to C-5 aircraft. NSN: 6620-01-305-5344UC, P/N: 8DJ370WAB1. DIM: Height 6.3 inches, width 3.5 inches, depth 10.7 inches, weight 9 pounds.. Function: Readout of engine speed as a percent RPM over the range 1 percent to 110 percent for each engine. Predominant material of manufacture: Aluminum. DELIVERY: 18 ea by 31 Dec 2002. Destination: Robins AFB GA. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 19 Apr 2002 with approximate response date of 21 May 2002. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading from www.FedBixOpps.gov website only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), ?Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements? applies. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. All potential sources should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose if the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process.
