Description

The purpose of this sources sought notice is to obtain information of qualified, certified, and interested HUBZone sources with experience relative to NAICS Code 23331 (size standard $28.5 million average annual receipts for preceding three fiscal years). This acquisition will be a competitive HUBZone set aside, and would be open to firms in all SBA regions. We are requesting all interested and qualified firms respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: (1) Name, Address, Phone, Fax, E-Mail, and Website if applicable; (2) A list (not to exceed 5) similar projects your firm currently holds or has completed within the last three years; and (3) Your bonding capacity per contract/action. The list of relevant contracts should include the location, contact number, description, estimated yearly value, performance dates, and Government point(s) of contact (contracting officer and QAE/inspector) with phone and fax numbers. Please limit your responses to 5 pages. This information must be faxed to (302) 677-2905, and marked to the attention of Lt. Clint Varner or e-mailed to clint.varner@dover.af.mil by 17 Apr 02. The contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price. Performance period is 180 days. The project magnitude is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Work for this contract will include, but is not limited to, providing a new fuel filter separator building, rework of fuel piping and all mechanical, electrical, and civil work to support the facility. It also includes replacing the transfer pumps in two existing buildings and replacing the electrical fixtures, equipment, wiring, and conduit within them. The solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) and Commercial Business Daily (CBD) web page on or about 14 May 02. The solicitation package and any amendments will only be available electronically. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Once the solicitation is posted, it is imperative that interested parties review the web site for updates/amendments. The closing date for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package. Prospective contractors must complete the Employment Report on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (VETS-100 report) and must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database prior to award of the government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to submit the VETS-100 report and register in the CCR will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration in CCR requires applicants to have a DUNS number. If you do not know your DUNS number, you may call 1-800-333-0505 to obtain it (and create one if necessary). Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The web sites for VETS-100 report is http://vets100.cudenver.edu and CCR is www.ccr2000.com. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for contract award. When the solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the FedBizOpps website and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation separately from the response to this sources sought notice.
