- This is an electronic request for quotation for a commercial item. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are due 15 April 2002 by COB, 4:00 PM Central Time Zone. The anticipated award date will be on or before 30 April 2002. The solicitation number, DAHA14-02-Q-0024, is issued as a Request for Quotation, using FAR Part 13 simplified acquisition procedures and exclusively for small business participation as outlined in FAR Part 19. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3531 and the North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 333120, with a size standard of 750 employees. The FSC Code is 3990. Delivery is FOB Destination. Desired Delivery time is 30 days after receipt of order (ARO), required delivery time is 45 days ARO. The Kansas Air National Guard intends to procure the following line item: CLIN 0001 -- 1 each -- ANGLE BROOM, 32 INCHES IN DIAMETER, POLYPROPYLENE BRUSH TYPE, 66 INCHES SWEEP WIDTH, 82 INCHES OVERALL WIDTH, 39 INCHES LENGTH, 37 INCHES HEIGHT, SINGLE PIN FAST-A-TACH MOUNTING SYSTEM, THIS BROOM MUST BE ABLE TO ATTACH TO A MUSTANG 940 LOADER. MUSTANG MS6A WITH SINGLE PIN OPTION OR EQUAL. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-06 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN 20020314). Following FAR and DFARS clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name Or Equal, FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial applies to this acquisition; 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-3, Offer Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, Quoters are to include a completed copy of the provision with their quote. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders) - Commercial Items including the following FAR clauses in paragraph (b): 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity, 52.225-13, Restriction on Certain Foreign Purchases, 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Central Contractor Registration, 52.232-36 Payment by Third Party. DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders Applicable To Defense Acquisitions Of Commercial Items, 252.225-7001 Buy American Act And Balance Of Payment Program, 252.225-7002 Qualifying Country Sources as Subcontractors, 252.227-7015 Technical Data - Commercial Items, Addendum - Add 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration. Quoters not in possession of the above referenced clauses in full text may obtain them at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Please reference solicitation number, your Federal Tax ID number, CAGE and DUNS numbers along with your price and delivery schedule on your quote. Only quotes sent via fax (316.759.7521/7925) or e-mail (william.phillips@ksmcco.ang.af.mil or gene.mohr@ksmcco.ang.af.mil) will be accepted. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Contractor whose quote conforming to this solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. All responsible sources may submit quotes, which, if timely received, the Government shall consider. Interested parties submitting an 'equal product', shall furnish detailed data sufficient for the Government to make a determination of product acceptability. The Governments determination will be final. Quoters must be registered and current in Central Contractor Registration database to be eligible for award (Ref DFAR 252.204-7004).
