- NA Architect -Engineer Services: Indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for the Army and Air National Guard,Camp Shelby, Mississippi and the Army and Air National Guard, Gulfport, Mississippi. Scope of services: Architect and engineering services a re required to provided Type A Services (soil borings, site development, cost analysis, alternative designs), type B Services (actual project designs in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations),and Type C Services (construction inspection) fo r maintenance and repair projects, alterations and additions to existing facilities. These projects will require multidiscipline engineering services in investigative, design, and inspection. List of proposed projects are as follows: Construct new Composi te Support Facility, Relocate Munitions Maintenance; Expand Aircraft Parking Apron; and Miscellaneous Paving Projects. The services required for each project will be negotiated under a separate delivery order. Evaluation factors: 1. Professional qualificat ions of the disciplines (not intended to be inclusive): Architect, Civil Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Structural Engineer, and Environmental Engineer. 2.Specialized experience and technical competence. 3. Capacity to complete work on time. 4. Past performance. 5. Location in general geographical area of the project. 6. Volume of DOD work in the past 12 months. Any resultant contract will be for a period of one year with an option for two additional years of service. The total of all o rders under each individual (12 month) contract period shall not exceed $2,000,000. A/E firms located outside the commuting distance (90 miles) of Camp Shelby and Gulfport, Mississippi that wish to be considered must be willing to establish a temporary bra nch office within the commuting distance. The government will not pay for out of town travel. A single contract is to be awarded from this solicitation. Firms desiring consideration shall submit Standard Form 254 and 255 to be received no later than May 1 0, 2002. The 11/92 edition of the forms must be used and may be obtained from the Government Printing Office or http://www.gsa.gov. Include the number and dollar value of the A/E contracts awarded by the Air National Guard and DOD agencies (include the pr evious year if the previous year is less than 6 months). Also include copies of any government evaluation reports showing performance on past work if available. Submit to Base Civil Engineer, Lt. Col.
