Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a solicitation for the acquisition of lease and launder services for uniforms for the BEP employees at the Washington, D.C. facility. The Contractor will be required to pick up soiled uniforms from and deliver the laundered uniforms to the D.C. facility on a weekly basis. The BEP anticipates issuing a solicitation on or before May 14, 2002 for a Firm Fixed-Priced, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with a base year and four option years. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Website at www.eps.gov. Interested sources may submit a written request to be placed on the mailing list so they can be notified when solicitation has been released. Firms may fax or e-mail their requests to (202) 874-2200 or Christina.tayman@bep.treas.gov. Telephone request will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit an offer upon receipt of the solicitation, which, shall be considered by the Agency. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses (see numbered note 1).
