- Description
- SYNOPSIS: Provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to construct the sanitary sewer and potable water connections. Work includes, but is not limited to, construction of associated site utilities. The general contractor shall provide the following in accordance with applicable local codes and the State of Louisiana. A properly sized duplex lift station with sewage lift pumps capable of handling the inflow of the building and 1500 gallon transfer from the boat. The discharge of the ship shall be routed to the lift station with thrust blocks provided as required. The discharge of the lift station shall be routed to the sanitary sewer through the new piping connecting to the existing sewage piping system, not to exceed any limitations placed on discharge rates by the sewage authority. Work shall not commence until all major items, including precast sewage lift station and all piping is available on site. Work shall be performed at US Coast Guard moorings in Morgan City, Louisiana. The performance period is forty-five (45) calendar days from award date. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Award will be made to the lowest responsible quoter. The anticipated award date is February 19, 2002. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234910, with a size standard of $27.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
